As a rough guide, I'd normally expect to complete your portrait within 2-4 weeks from receipt of your photograph(s) - but this will depend on my current workload. At peak times such as Christmas I get very busy so it can pay to plan ahead.

The photos you provide can be either digital or conventional. They need to be as clear, sharp and detailed as possible: getting a good likeness is dependent on being able to see the features clearly - especially the eyes

Each portrait is unique and my prices vary depending on the complexity of the subject. Below are some guideline prices but please get in touch for a no-obligation quote for your pencil portrait.

For head and shoulder portraits drawn on a 16"x12" (A3) sheet:
- Single subject: from £150 ($250, €190)
- Two subjects: from £180 ($300, €230)

For most commissions there is no deposit required and payment is only requested once the portrait has been completed. At this point I will email you a small scan of the finished artwork for approval. Payment can then be made by cheque, credit/debit card or bank account transfer.
